The Eastern Volunteer Division of The Bermuda Fire And Rescue Service

As of April 1st 2007 the St. Georges Fire Brigade was officially handed over to the Bermuda Government by the Corporation of St. Georges. They were then merged into the newly named Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service. Some of the former members decided not to make the transition. Some decided to retire, the former Chief Adderly was made redundant, and other decided to pursue other activates. The seven members that joined with in the last year were told to report to Headquarter Station in Hamilton for further instruction. That left 2 Lieutenants, and 3 Sergeants and a few fire fighters. As of a year later the 4 recruits finished their training and returned to our Station. We know have 2 Lieutenants, 3 Sergeants, 5 Fire Fighters. We have 1 Pumper East 3, 1 Pickup Truck East 5 (East 6), and 1 Rescue Truck East 4. Out of the 3 Sergeants one is  EMT - I and CPR Instructors and one is a CPR Instructor.
